International Paper Co. agreed to pay a $5.2m settlement with a widowed mother of four who lost an arm in a crash with an International Paper employee who was allegedly talking on her company cell phone at the time of the accident. Debra Ford was rear-ended by by Vanessa McGrogan on Interstate 16, causing her car to run off the road and overturn, crushing her arm between the car and the pavement as her vehicle slid along the side of the highway. Two Oshkosh residents were injured Friday morning in a two-car collision on Highway 41 just north of Fond du Lac, WI. Police reports indicate that a 35 year old man from Oshkosh driving a pickup northbound lost control of the truck and collided with another pickup driven by Amanda Lancour, 17, also of Oshkosh. Lancour suffered minor injuries and was taken to Aurora Medical Center for treatment. The man's truck spun out of control and overturned several times. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to St. Agnes Hospital.
