The dangers associated with ATVs

Posted on Friday, March 12th, 2010 at 7:14 am

All terrain vehicles are very popular because of their off-road capabilities. However, they are also associated with severe accidents that lead to serious injuries.

ATVs present a risk of injury because they are cabaple of going 70 mph but have very few safety restraints and protections. Without these protections, riders can be thrown from ATVs or get stuck under them.

The costs of dealing with underinsured drivers

Posted on Friday, March 5th, 2010 at 4:07 am

While drivers are required to carry a minimum amount of insurance coverage, some neglect this duty typically at a cost to other drivers. When other drivers do not carry enough insurance, drivers with insurance are usually left with paying for the damages and injuries.

Even when drivers carry the minimum amount, this insurance coverage may not cover a number of circumstances. Moreover, because the minimum changes infrequently while medical costs are always rising, the minimum policies are often not enough to keep up with these costs.
