A man from Racine was killed in a motorcycle accident in Nebraska earlier this month.
According to officials with the Nebraska State Patrol, 45 year-old Alfred Christian was pronounced dead at the Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff on October 15. Police say Christian was traveling eastbound on Interstate 80 on a Honda motorcycle wehn the front tire went flat. Christian was attempting to pass a tractor-trailer at the time, Collins said.
Christian and his passenger, 49 year-old Elise Hinton were thrown from the motorcycle and sucked into the side of the tractor-trailer.
Hinton was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, Collins said.
Christian was transported to Scottsbluff Medial Center for treatment where he later succumbed to his injuries.
