Target is facing a lawsuit after a Louisiana woman slipped and fell at one of the stores. The case has been moved to a federal court in New Orleans.
The woman claims in the lawsuit that she was injured when she slipped on the floor of a Target store. The suit goes on to state that the floor was unsafe for customers and was a hazard. There were no signs warning the woman of a potential slipping hazard. The woman allegedly suffered a neck injury due to the fall.
Target is being accused of failing to inspect its floors and failure to warn of hazards. The woman is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
