A woman is suing the Texas grocery store chain, H.E.B., for injuries that she suffered while shopping at the store last year.
The woman claims that she stepped on a slippery substance at the store, which caused her to fall. The lawsuit filed against the store states that the company negligently allowed the woman to slip by not putting up cautionary signs or cleaning the substance on the floor.
The woman is seeking an undisclosed amount for personal anguish, medical expenses, and lost wages. The case will be going to trial on Wednesday.
