Sheriff’s deputy pleads guilty to sexual assault charges

Posted under sexual assault attorneys

A 25 year-old former Langland County sheriff’s deputy has pleaded guilty to 22 felony charges related to sexual activity he had with teenage girls. He has been charged with two counts of child enticement, 16 counts of exposing himself to children, and four counts of sexual assault.

A judge has placed his bail at $50,000. The man is believed to have had four victims that were between the ages of 15 and 18. The Pioneer Press reports that he communicated with the girls through social media sites and texting.

He is no longer with the Langland County Sheriff’s Office, but it is not clear at this time if he resigned or was fired.
