BMW recalls 76,200 vehicles with brake defect

Posted under Automotive Defects

BMW recalled around 76,200 vehicles including the 1, 2, and 5 Series sedans, plus the X1 and X3 crossovers and Z4 sports car from the 2012 to 2014 model years.

These vehicles may lose functionality in the brakes if they experience interruption in the oil supply.

It is important to take note that without power brakes, the car would still be able to stop; however, doing so would require more pedal pressure.

BMW advises drivers experiencing the problem to pull over and have their car towed.

No one should suffer injuries due to a defective vehicle. If you or a loved one have been harmed due to a manufacturer’s carelessness, you may be entitled to compensation.
