The Mount Pleasant Police Department arrested a man for operating while impaired after causing a car accident and becoming involved in another one at a parking lot of the local Buffalo Wild Wings on Wednesday, October 9.

The driver of the silver sport utility vehicle, who was identified as 31-year-old Sturtevant, Wisconsin resident Brian Thilleman, reportedly caused a motor vehicle accident at Highways 11 and 31 before he jumped the curb at the restaurant’s parking lot and crashed into at least five other vehicles.

The police said he came from Walmart and was eastbound on Durand Avenue when he didn’t pay attention to the stop signal, causing him to hit a car in the intersection of Highways 31 and 11.

Thilleman was incarcerated in the Racine County Jail on a single felony charge of operating while impaired causing injury and was cited for violation of control traffic signal and reckless driving.
