On Tuesday, January 28 an officer from the Racine County Sheriff’s Office sustained minor injuries in a car accident. The accident occurred in Dover at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Beaumont Avenue.

According to a preliminary investigation, the accident was caused by a 22-year-old Kansasville male who failed to yield the right-of-way. The young man was not injured in the car accident.

Officials do not suspect drugs or alcohol to be a factor in the auto accident.
