Infant survives fatal Kenosha County car accident

Posted under Personal Injury

Haley Reitz, 20, died in a two-car collision on Tuesday, March 4 in Bristol. Her infant daughter survived the accident.

According to police records, Reitz was driving east on Wilmot Road when her car slipped on some ice and traveled into the oncoming lane causing a westbound car to hit Reitz’s vehicle.

The driver in the westbound car, a 48-year-old woman, survived the accident and was transported to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee with critical leg and hip wounds.

Emergency response teams reported that the baby was fastened in her car seat at the time of the accident. Investigators do not beleive that excessive speed was a factor in the crash.

The attorneys at Habush Habush & Rottier S.C., send our condolences to those who have been affected by this accident.
