Racine County DA pleads guilty to drunk driving

On Thursday, April 10 Racine County District Attorney, Rich Chiapete plead guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated as well as fleeing the scene of a car accident.

Chiapete is now obliged to pay forfeitures and costs amounting to $1,205 for violations against municipality ordinances.

Among the basic punishments that Chiapete will receive include a one-year revocation of his drivers license and the mandatory installation of an ignition interlock device in his car.
