Wal Mart Discount Chicken Nuggets Recalled

by Administrator 22. July 2010 02:41

According to CNN Health, "Perdue Farms is recalling nearly 92,000 pounds of chicken nuggets because of a concern that a small number of them may contain pieces of plastic."

The nuggets were part of a Great Value brand at Wal Mart stores and are sold all across the United States, reports CNN. Perdue Farms predicts that a small plastic ring fell in the raw contents, before the nuggets had been put together and shaped.

The company said no one has been hurt. Over 50,000 of the packages containing fully-cooked nuggets have been recalled. No other Great Value brand items are considered at risk.
