Four-year-old boy dies in Racine car accident

by Administrator 23. March 2010 03:46

A 4-year-old boy died on Wednesday at the Children's Hospital in Wauwatosa after a car accident on Monday afternoon.

The accident occurred when a van driven by a 78-year-old man collided with the Ford Focus carrying the boy. The boy was sitting in the rear middle seat and was wearing a seatbelt, but was not in a car seat. The child's mother, a passenger, suffered a fractured pelvis. The driver of the van did not have a valid driver's license and holds at least two prior convictions of driving without a license.
