by Administrator 30. April 2009 05:17

In Dane County, a medical malpractice case ended with the family of a now 8 year old girl being awarded $17.3 million. The case, led by attorney Dan Rottier, was based on a botched surgery the girl underwent in June 2007.

The girl was severely injured during the operation and is now confined to a wheelchair. Permanent brain damage has left her unable to speak so she now communicates by blinking her eyes. The damage done by the surgery is irreversible.
