A police officer from Sturtevant and another driver were injured in a wreck Saturday. The accident occurred when the officer responded to a call, put on his lights, and then unintentionally hit the other car. 

The officer and the other driver were both taken to a nearby hospital and treated for injuries, according to police reports.
