The risk of car fires caused by cigarettes

by Administrator 2. November 2009 06:57

Cigarettes pose a danger to drivers becaue of the risks associated with fire damage. While most people who smoke in their car are careful in putting out and dispensing their cigarettes, some do not act with caution and leave their burning cigarettes in dangerous places.

When a car catches fire because of a cigarette, damage can be done to both the car's interior and exterior. If the fire spreads, then it could ignite the gas tank, which could lead to an explosion.

If you have been injured in a car fire caused by a cigarette, contact the Racine personal injury attorneys of Habush, Habush, & Rottier, S.C., at 800-242-2874.
