The likelihood of a Wisconsin motorist striking a deer is 1 in 116, Bloomington, Ill.-based State Farm said in a statement. According to the study, the chance of a Wisconsin driver hitting a deer is 1 in 116.

That probability is greater than the U.S. average of 1 in 208. However, it falls below West Virginia and Michigan, where the averages are 1 in 39 and 1 in 78, respectively.

When a vehicle hits a deer, it not only injures the deer but also could injure the passengers inside the car. If you have been in an accident involving a deer and been injured in the accident, contact the Racine personal injury lawyers of Habush, Habush, & Rottier, S.C., at 800-242-2874.
