A home in the Milwaukee suburb of Glendale exploded Saturday night, injuring six people. Two occupants, a father and his daughter, were inside the home at the time of the blast and were taken to Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital.
The father is reported to be in serious condition, and the daughter’s condition was not released. A neighbor and a passerby were hurt when they went inside the burning home to help the family out, CNN reports.
Two emergency responders also suffered minor injuries. A police officer was treated for smoke inhalation, and a firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion. The cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
