Menomonee Falls authorities arrested a 19 year-old man after he led them on a car chase Monday night. Police tried to pull him over after he fled the scene of an accident, but drove off when an officer approached his car.
According to the Menomonee Falls Patch, three young children were in the backseat of his car during the pursuit. The driver lost control near the exit of Highway 145 at 124th Street and drove into a fence. He attempted to flee on foot but was caught by a K-9 unit.
The young children, ages 5, 4, and 3, were not harmed in the accident. The teen is facing charges of OWI with minors in the vehicle, obstruction of an officer, attempting to flee from police, and three counts of reckless endangerment.
